What We Do

We handle residential and commercial roofing from small repairs to complete replacements:

How We Work

Most people only deal with a roofer a few times in their lives, often right after a storm, when they are stressed and getting calls and door knocks from contractors they have never heard of. We try to make the process calmer and clearer.

Free, no-obligation inspections

Our inspections are free, and an inspection does not commit you to anything. We look at the roof surface, flashing, vents, valleys and gutters, and the attic when it is safe to reach.

Photos and plain language

We photograph what we find and walk you through it without jargon. You should be able to see the problem for yourself, not just take our word for it. We also tell you what looks fine.

Written estimates

When work is needed, you get a written estimate that spells out the scope, so you can compare options and make a decision on your own schedule.

Repair first, when a repair is enough

Not every leak means you need a new roof. If a targeted repair will solve the problem and give the roof more good years, we will recommend the repair. When replacement really is the better choice, we will explain why. Our article on repair versus replacement covers how we think about it.

Respect for your property and safety

We protect landscaping and outdoor areas during work, keep the site organized and clean up nails and debris when we finish. Our crews follow safe work practices on the roof. We also ask homeowners never to climb onto a roof themselves. Look from the ground, use binoculars or photos, and leave the rest to us.

We Know Central Texas Weather

Roofs in Bell County face a demanding climate. Spring brings severe storms with hail and damaging straight-line winds, and fall can bring a second round. Summers stretch for months with temperatures in the upper 90s and above, along with strong UV that dries out shingles and sealants and overheats poorly ventilated attics. Heavy downpours test gutters and flashing, and occasional hard freezes, like the February 2021 winter storm, can add stress. We keep these conditions in mind when we recommend materials, ventilation, and installation details. Our weather page and blog share more practical information.

Where We Stand on Insurance

We are roofers, not public adjusters. Texas law (Insurance Code Chapter 4102) does not allow contractors to act as public adjusters, so we do not negotiate claims on your behalf. Here is what we can do: inspect your roof, document damage with photos, prepare a repair estimate and, if you would like, be there when your insurance adjuster inspects the roof. We never guarantee that a claim will be approved or what your policy covers.

We also will not waive, absorb or rebate your deductible. Texas Insurance Code Chapter 707 makes that illegal for contractors, and homeowners are required to pay their deductible. If a contractor offers to "take care of" your deductible, consider it a warning sign. You can learn more on our insurance claim assistance page.
